Heading toward the end of 2022 we had some good gains, and an intraday jump based on a lower than expected inflation reading. In the end, the gains that were seen in the futures and early that day went by the wayside as the week closed out with recession fears.
Heading toward the end of December I expect we’ll stay around the same levels or head a little lower. The Fed does not appear to be backing off , which we can argue they should or shouldn’t as they battle inflation. Will we continue to have issues with inflation though, or will it cease?
With under 10 trading days left in the year we’ll see. What I do know is that I’ve got a few limit orders set for TGT 0.00%↑ , CPT 0.00%↑ , and O 0.00%↑ and will continue with my typical Vanguard buys.
Here’s to wishing you all a Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
